Join us this Easter

Everyone is welcome!

Our church community is inviting you to join us this Easter with a range of events for all ages. Whether you’re looking for something fun for the kids, a quiet moment of reflection, or a joyful celebration, there’s something for you.

easter-coffee Easter Coffee Morning
Wednesday 1st April,
10:00am–1:00pm

Come and relax with a hot drink and a slice of cake, or catch up with friends. There will be a toddler play area, craft activities for the children, and space to enjoy the garden. Everyone is welcome—drop in whenever you like!
We also have three services you can join us at this Easter.

If you want to know more about what happens in a typical church service then take a look here.

To come to a church service, you do not need to be a church member, or be baptised, or even consider yourself a Christian - all are welcome!  We love having visitors who are just taking a look.

Candles Maundy Thursday Service
Thursday 2nd April,
7:30–8:30pm

This is a special candlelit service called a Tenebrae (which means darkness).  The service will be mainly lit by candles.  We will then tell about the events of the story of Easter through these candles.  The service will be reflective and peaceful, including Bible readings and music pieces being played.  We will share a simple meal of bread and non-alcoholic wine together, like Jesus did with his friends the night before he died.

Cross Good Friday Service
Friday 3rd April, 10:30am - 11:30am

In this service we will reflect on how the death of a man 2000 years ago can make a difference for us today.  What was the point of Jesus' death? A chance to listen, a chance to speak to God in prayer, a chance to contemplate what the cross of Christianity is all about.

Easter Sunday Celebration
Sunday 5th April, 10:30am - 11:30am

Why is Easter a time of hope, peace, and joy?  Come and find out!  The Bible tells us that Jesus didn't stay dead but came back to life, an amazing claim!  The disciples couldn't believe it at first and thought they had seen a ghost!
